SEDNET
The SEDNET Program allows our providers to offer services in Orange County Public Schools to provide wrap-a-round care and communication with parents, students, school counselors, and teachers.
Positive Behavioral Solutions is thrilled to partner with Orange County Public Schools by serving the Mental Health needs of the Students in our community. Our PBS Therapists provide in-school Mental Health Therapy in a safe environment where the student feels at ease to address the presenting and underlying Mental Health concerns. We have seen the SEDNET Partnership grow from 14 students in our first month to over 300 student referrals in the 22-23 School year.
We use therapy modalities, including MATCH-ADTC, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Adoption Competency. The SEDNET benefits each child as it involves a tri-fold coordination of care and communication, involving the Parent, School Counselor, Teacher, and PBS Therapist.
We are grateful for the incredible relationships PBS has been able to build with Orange County Public Schools through this program and consider it a great honor to partner with SEDNET to provide Mental Health Services to its students.
The students are referred by the Mental Health Designee and SAFE Coordinator from the School, with Authorization from the Parent/Caregiver. Please submit your completed SEDNET Referral Forms, via your school's OCPS Mental Health Designee, directly to referrals@pbsfl.org.
