"Helping People Achieve Positive Outcomes"

Trauma Focused
    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

TF-CBT utilizes evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions that focus on symptoms of trauma and PTSD to guide clients in processing trauma-related memories and symptoms.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based practice that has been showing positive results for the past 30 years to help children and adolescents between the ages of 3-17 years old to recover after traumatic experiences. TF-CBT is a short-term treatment model that effectively improves a range of trauma-related outcomes in a series of 8 – 25 sessions with the child and caregiver. Clients typically show progress after eight sessions of engaging in TF-CBT components as they learn coping skills, master skills, process trauma experiences, and experience a reduction in their trauma symptoms.
